MI PRIMER RECUERDO DE LECTURA

Recuerdo que me tumbé en la cama de mis padres y leí un libro hasta el final por primera vez. Ya fuera Biggles, Bunter o algo de Enid Blyton, estaba enganchado. Empecé a ir a la biblioteca todos los días, y desde entonces apenas he podido pasar una hora sin pasar los ojos por alguna que otra frase. Leer se ha convertido en un hábito, pero nunca ha dejado de ser un placer.

I can remember lying on my parents’ bed and reading a book all the way through for the first time. Whether it was Biggles, Bunter or something by Enid Blyton, I was hooked. I began going to the library every day, and have barely been able to go an hour since without passing my eyes over some sentence or another. Reading has become a habit, but it has never stopped being a pleasure.
